BASSO LUCE E ARIA WAS BORN IN 1968 FROM THE FOUNDER FRANCO BASSO.
The company initially dealt with truck fittings, while in the following years it dealt with mechanical carpentry, producing vacuum cleaners and trucks for the transport of ceramics.
ADR IS BORN!
Basso owes its main success to the invention of ADR: the first vertically opening skylight. Thanks to its innovative opening system it’s able to ventilate even in case of rain.
FIRST PARTECIPATION AT “SAIE” IN BOLOGNA
Basso starts to deal its skylights throughout Italy overcoming regional barriers.
FROM IRON TO ALUMINUM
Basso expand the factory and increase the staff.
